Let’s just say that Getaway’s Instagram ad totally worked. Found out about them through a casual daily scroll through instagram and needless to say the aesthetic totally peaked my interest. I was already itching for a trip where I would just be able to unplug and take the doggies with me to chill for a weekend. It was like Instagram read my mind or *ahem heard me 🤔. The location of Running Springs was convenient enough where going for one night didn’t seem too far fetched. Wish it could’ve been longer but i’ll take what I can get.
Getaway is…
a modern cabin rental startup located in multiple locations throughout the US (and expanding!). They offer simple escapes in tiny cabins nestled in nature while providing all basic amenities that you would need for a nice and comfortable glamping trip.
The cabins were nice and clean and comfortable. They got all our basics covered including a kitchenette, mini fridge, bathroom, showers, and even an AC unit. Honestly, they can’t possibly make being in nature any more comfortable than this.
Turning off your phone and unplugging is highly encouraged. They provide books and activity inside the cabin if you didn’t come prepared. Another key thing to highlight is that they are pet friendly!
